Our Story

This book is a passion project born from a simple idea. When I first had my daughter, I was looking for a high contrast baby book for Hmong families, but couldn’t find one. So I created the book I wished we could have had: a black and white high contrast book designed to introduce early first Hmong words during tummy time, story time, and quiet moments together.

With a background in pediatrics, I’ve always understood how meaningful early visual stimulation, language exposure, and simple everyday interaction can be during a baby’s first year.  I had so much fun putting this book together, and am very grateful to get to share it with you!
